@SeniorGGAC Relegation

It’s sad news. but it was confirmed yesterday that the Gee’s shall be competing in division 3 during next seasons cross country league events.

The guys made a great effort on Saturday and reversed a 47 point deficit to Tadworth.

We were only 5 points behind the Windmilers at the start line – but they put in an astonishing effort to win the race and built up a 186 point lead over the Gee’s and move up to 6th in the league.

So, our only option was to beat Dorking conclusively. They were 112 points ahead of us at the start of the race, and whilst we made inroads into that score, they finished the season, holding their position in division 2, 98 places ahead of us.

It was a brilliant turn out, and a fantastic effort by all. Let’s put this relegation behind us and show division 3 what we got, and get out of there this time next year!! :-)

Bring it on!!
